LONDON (AFP) - Mauricio Pochettino took his allowance of the blame for "sloppy" Tottenham's 1-0 Champions League semi-final first leg thrash against Ajax after admitting he used the incorrect tactics.Pochettino's side made a miserable begin as Donny van de Beek put Ajax ahead after just 15 minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium upon Tuesday (April 30).Ajax dominated the first half until Pochettino categorically distorted his game-plan by switching from a 3-5-2 formation to a 4-4-2 system. Aided by the foundation of Moussa Sissoko for the insulted Jan Vertonghen, Tottenham regained a measure of rule without ever painful sensation Ajax in the manner of their long-ball barrage.Pochettino conceded he had blundered in the manner of his game-plan, but the Tottenham proprietor was as a consequence angry in the manner of the lethargic habit his players started the club's first European cup semi-final for 57 years."Watching now of course I can accept it was a mistake the concern we used.
